Music and plant growth

I saw a mythbuster where they tested this. The plants that had music or noise did in fact grow larger/healthier. Classical music worked well but so did heavy metal. More noise=better? Maybe, but personally I'd take something easy to listen to 24 hours like japanese garden music haha

its not about the music its about the vibrations from the music and the sounds. Yes heavy metal is good because its intense with probably a lot of different sound waves. classical is said to be good for plants with a heavy strings section because they seem to like that
