Mumbai Traveller Grow Journal

Ok so I have this stuff, i've dubbed it mumbai traveller. i love a random grow, it's always interesting to see what comes out of it.

so the photo here is of day 1 - i put them in ph neutral water for about 16 hours......

looks like the start to wonderful grow!

they have cracked, will put them up now

i moved them to paper towel. last time i just germed them in rockwool and jiffy, but for this one i've decided to go old school lol

after about 8 hrs in water, i mixed it up a bit which got the seeds to sink.

then after the 16 hours i took a plain old plate, and laid a bit of paper towel on it. placed the seeds on top as you can see, and put just a little water on them. then i folded another piece of paper towel and put it over the top of the seeds, at that point i gave them a good serve of water again on top.

the heat source i am using is a 400w MH in an unventilated closet. you have to keep an eye on the paper towel to make sure it's still moist, but it cranks things along really well.

they have currently been in the paper towel for almost 24 hours, tonight i will be transplanting....

yeah ninj i did that with you recently lol i tried to give you rep and it told me to share the love first. and yeah i have only done water then paper towel once, usually i do one or the other, but the fact yours grew it cotylotydingdongs while still in the paper towel inspired me a little haha

i do like having a journal, i like the friendly visits

so i put the soil in pots a few hours ago wetting it and let it sit for a little while. then i very gently transplanted the babies into the coco. they are now under a 400w MH, gonna be adding a few cfl's after seedlings strengthen up a bit

...seems to be holding moisture a lot more, which is good coz we need a happy medium. ha. all but one have now exposed themselves

the rest of them are going really well, the niks mix is definitely good, takes a little getting used to effectively over watering them on purpose lol but i'm very pleased. and the smoke these babies came from was really good, mix with a definite sativa twang, and i do love a good sativa twang!
