Multiple Sclerosis

Hey everyone, new grower here just wanted to check things out and ask a few questions. Anybody here that medicates for multiple sclerosis or knows somebody that does? I'd like to get some information if I could. I'm looking for strains, and different kinds of recipes even for edibles. Unfortunately my patient has COPD so she's gonna be using tinctures and edibles mostly. But any information would be greatly appreciated..

I've looked at lots of sites, such as leafly, and other strain classifiers but I'd like to get your personal experience.

Tell me some benefits, and side effects to using cannabis for a person with MS.
Without getting too personal, what symptoms from the disease did you personally feel it helped with?

I have had MS for over twenty years. I have the relapsing remitting sort and the last 8 or nine years if been attack free. Im on beta interfearon avonex 1a but havnt had any for ages. I smoke joints like cigarettes and am always medicated. Its great as an anti depressant, I was on allsorts for over ten years and then when i had a constant supply of weed i stopped taking ad and have never been happier.

Thanks so much for the info ! Sorry I didn't get back to ya sooner, but she just tried a some edibles and she loved it. Im hoping this will be her answer.

Ive not noticed any of my old symptoms going away but they sure havent got any worse.

Sorry 2 hear that. My uncle has MS. I have to say it has took its toll on him over the period of time he has had it. I watched him go from being a successful business man to retired at 40 and in a wheelchair. ;( I have tried numerous times to get him to try the toke, but due to his "Christianity" he turns it down. The way I see it is, God made it, and as long as someone has an sickness, and don't abuse it then its ok. Thats just my opinion though. Glad to read you are doing better though

I don't have any personal experience with MS, but a friend who does, has been able to sleep throughout the night when before using mmj edibles, this was impossible.
