Seriously? Do you really think those seedlings are fighting over territory at this early stage?
I have grown 2 plants side by side in a oblong 3 gallon bucket with no issues. How? It's simple. First you want fast, start to finish period. Zero veg for a photo, straight 12/12 and get it to harvest as quick as possible. Or a fast auto. Zero issues except, you may have to water/fert more often.
Can't believe your still calling this silly idea an experiment. If that's all you can afford to do so be it. But scientific? HA!
As far as the supposed "problem". Some strains shoot up faster them others. Some seeds in the same strain have different tendencies. Normally, during the early stages the plant is expending its energy rooting.
Here with the bashing already?
Its not all i could afford, and in fact i could have set up something better for the same cost.
I didn't say they were fighting for nutes, not yet at least. Im curious as to why ONE out of 4 plants in a single pot with equal conditions would have a problem.
This grow isnt about yeild, or even a crop, its about learning the bare necessary requirements to flower a plant.
Ive spent about 30$ on the grow...
For that same price i could have did a diy scrog with shit laying around my house, and for another 20$ could have bought some better lights. Shit, i might not even kill the males just out of intrest in how they grow.
Here is another pic of a plant in the same pot. Notice the first pic has discolored leaves and is much smaller.
