My new grow has started. Just started germination tonight. I am growing 1 White Russian(Fem), 1 Dinafem Fruit (Fem), 1 Diesel Ryder(Reg), 1 Easy Ryder(Fem). I decided this time to go with and in-soil germination. I dampened the soil and placed the seeds about a half inch in the soil. I figured I would try it the natural way this time, and also I would like to see what the sucess rate is. I am interested in the Dinafem fruit this is my first time growing Dinafem, but I hear they are hardy seeds. I haven't turned the light on yet. I will have them kick on tommorrow morning at 6:00am. The temp in there now is 77* and 42% humidity which isn't bad and the light will probably heat it up another 2-3 degrees. I am growing with a 600w hps, 435 cfm sunleaves, and a can 66 for odor. I hear the easy ryder, and diesel ryder have strong odor. Hear are some pictures I will post again when I get a sprout.:leaf:

Fruit is Dinafem new auto as far as I know. When I ordered from the attitude one of the freebie seeds that they sent me was Dinafem Auto Fruit. They have it listed on there web-site, but it says there out of stock. Guess they gave them all away in freebies. The genetics are suppose to be (Lowrider#1 x Dinafem #1) X Grapefruit. I know its probably not going to be potent, but hey I like flavor too. They also sent me a Dinafem Sweet Deep Grapfruit, but its a photo so I will be growing that later on. I am looking forward to Dinafems auto haze that is suppose to be coming out at the end of this month.

*Update* Little worried this morning about germination. I planted the seeds last night and when I woke up in the moring the soil on top was a little dry. I thought I watered the soil enough last night, but I guess not. I rewatered this morning hopefully I didn't mess it up. I think the top was just a little dry because I have my light on and it might have caused it. Well I guess we'll see in a couple of days if they break the soil. Temps are flucuating between 83*-84 with the light on. A little higher than I would like it, but not in the danger zone yet. (Fingers crossed)

*They are planted directly in 3gal pots*

Well a/c in the house broke today. I had to turn my lights off. The temps are too high 89*. I figured the seeds have sprouted out of the soil yet anyways so I will be alright until I am able to get my a/c fixed which should be hopefully tomorrow or the next day. I figure since I decided to do a soil germinate they shouldn't sprout til friday. Problems, Problems, Problems. God I hate problems need to get them all sorted out before the seeds sprout. I can't grow in 90*temps. Somebody got any advice on how to keep the humidy in my tent up its only like 38%.

Day:4

Checked soil pots today and still no sprouts:cry:. Hopefully they will come up in the next few days. Temp is 77*-80, and humidity is 48%-51%. Spray thee soil today seen couple of small dry spots.
I planted them about 1/2'' down so maybe that could take it longer to.

Day 5: Well we have a baby today. The DinaFem Fruit has broken the soil. She is the first over the Russian, Diesel, and Easy Ryder. Hopefully the rest will be coming up soon. Ran some ducting work to the window next to the tent so that they can get fresh outside air. Here are some pics will post again soon.

Hopefully you can see it. Need to get a better camera.

what site did you get the fruit from? I was trying to find pictures.

I got the Dinafem Fruit from Attitude Seed Bank. They are out of stock right now. I got mine as a freebie because I ordered so many seeds. I would Like to buy more of them, I know there not potent but I am a connesussier too. I haven't found any other seed bank selling them either.

Yeah no prob. Attitude is a really good seed bank in my opinion. I know some people have been having problems with them lately, but I haven't. It just suxs they start this new Barney Farm promo tommorrow and I just bought seeds last week. If I would have know I would have waited. 3 Free Barney seeds with every order, plus free gear, plus Barney Farms UFO'S....Damn.

I have a question? My landlords being a dick and still hasn't got my central air fixed yet. One of my seedlings have finally sprouted so I have to turn on my 600w hps. I am using a lumtek ballast and adjusted the light to 50%, but I am still having heat problems got to keep the light far away because if its closer than like 2 foot temps start to spike. I was wondering outside of buying a window a/c unit what can I do to bring temps down. My set-up photos are on page one. I ran duct work from my intake to my window which helps cool it to the right temps, but it too hot around 1:00pm-6:00pm to even use that method. IDEAS?

Well after returning home from work. The Diesl Ryder has broke ground, and the White Russian is peaking its head through even through it hasn't full broke ground. No signs of the Easy Ryder yet:-(. Hoping the Dinafem Fruit sheds it shell soon. I sprayed a little water on it to wet the shell and help it break it. The soil on top was dry, so I sprayed the top of the soil with a water/superthrive mix to help dampen it. When sunday comes it will have been a full week and not sure how I should go about watering them considering one hasn't broke ground and the rest of seedlings. I think I will just pour maybe 8oz of water in all 3g pots on sunday. I will post pics soon.
