Muffin Fan Enough??

Hi all. Will a 62cfm "muffin fan" used at both the intake and exhaust ducting (2 fans total) connected to a 1000 watt Cool Breeze HPS Reflector (intake from outside ducted through the light then exhausted back outside) be enough to cool the light? I'm afraid I may need more powerful squirrel cage type fans for this but was hoping to get by with the muffin fans as I have 4 of them and two air cooled lights in need of 2 fans each...at least that's what I think I've learned the setup should be.

I hope I given enough info to help answer my question. This is my first post. I've been reading and learning up to this point. Thanks for all of the info guys and gals. Any input is greatly appreciated!

By muffin fan, I think your talking about the computer fans things. And their each 2ft big? Yea that should work.

Yes it's one of the computer type fans. I'm going to try to attach a pic. It's about 4 1/2 inches square though so you may be referring to something larger than what I have. Based on this pic and the size referenced above do you think it is sufficient? Thanks a million for the help!!

I doubt those little fans will vent all that air. You could either get the squirrel cage fan or something bigger than those fans you have.

Ok. Will do. Thank you both for the advice. My veg area is about 20 sq ft and my flower area is roughly twice that size. I have two 270+ cfm squirrel cage fans already which I intended to use to push air through two carbon scrubbers/filters...

Do you guys see ANY use for these 4 muffin fans in my setup?

Oh I forgot to mention that I have a 400 watt MH for the veg area. Maybe two of the four muffin fans could be used to cool that light??? Just trying to find SOME use for them. Thanks so much again!!

Yea you can hook them up just because, you know. You can make it so they are pushing air on the plants that will make the stems stronger. Like wind does to outdoors plants.

Yeah, that's true. I have four one footer 3 speed fans I had bought to circulate air in both rooms. I suppose you can never have too much circulating air though. A good use for the small muffin fans might be in my clone area...hmmmm.
