i agree a few more weeks to many white hairs they will shrink back into your buds and they should fatten up a little more and be so much worth the wait looks good though!!

too early, agreed on that. get a pocket microscope from radioshack it's like 10-15$, worked flawlessly for 10 years+ with me I check trichomes with it to determine ripeness

I have clipped a few ends to check the trichomes with my 40x microscope, they are mostly cloudy, some clear, some just turning amber.

Totally agree with botanist95, from my exp. you should wait till the white hair recede/turn orange. You can tell in photos 3 and 7 that its getting there. The buds will swell up noticeably!

Sounds like she is ready.. turn the lights out for 48-72 hours and cut away,

The state of the trichomes you described. Is what I like to see. Some cloudy, some amber.

I determine if its done by looking at the plant overall, are all of the hairs amber and sucking back into the bud? are the lower fan leaves starting to yellow? I usually have an idea when its going to be done by looking at the genetics of the plant as well, if it's indica it will be done flowering earlier, 7-10 weeks, and sativa can be much longer anywhere from 9-14 weeks. By looking at your pictures I would say 2-3 weeks left. The longer you wait the more trichome development you will see. Checking the trichs for cloudy/amber isnt always the best way to determine if its ready to harvest. Some sativas don't even get amber trichs. -chron
