MTG to lose committee seats.

In short, her congressional career is over in less than a week.

That's got to be a record.
Good, fuck her.

I know a lot of people took offense to @UncleBuck's comment - but I would be lying if I said that the idea of giving her a full on punch in the face wouldn't feel real, real good.

Not proud of it - but I am at least being honest.

And this bullshit about liberals and cancel culture is just that, bullshit. Any single Republican who dares cross Trump right now is getting permanently punitively primaried. Oh, that is totally different.

I really wanted the clip from the original Hairspray about Penny Pingleton getting positively permanently punished, but I could not find it. So I picked this totally unassociated clip instead - because... Teri Garr.

Her career isn't over as long as she has the backing of her district and Democrats hold less than a 2/3 majority. I suppose the support from Republicans could change over time but for now, the GOP is still being run by Trump and Trump only cares about her loyalty.

good on Democrats for refusing to accept Republican Party leaders' provocative act of putting the defender of public school shooters on the education committee and refusing her a seat on the budget committee due to her advocating for the murder of members of Congress that aren't like her. No good could come from her on those committees.

She has the support of a major faction of the GOP. THAT's the problem. She's but a symptom. The GOP is split three ways. Never Trumpers, authoritarian followers who hew to Trump because he's a "strong leader" (authoritarian followers) and the loony tunes Q bunch. From what I've read, the last two factions make up about 60 million voters.

We have a problem and it's not just MTG.

She and her constituents are cut from the same cloth as Matt Gaetz, Louie Gohmert and others from historically racist areas. The more racist and bigoted the district the easier it is to con the voters with Trumpism, Gerrymandering made the existing problem worse. They will continue to vomit up these creatures as the republican party spirals into lunacy and is hopefully cut off from the big money. Passing a beefed up HR-1 should help a lot with cutting off or reducing their sources of financing when it comes to big money donors and corporations.

They should split along state or regional lines, but those who do, won't walk away from the party name and the advantages it offers in terms of ballot access. It looks like about 80% of them will go full crazy but the 20% and independents they lose should keep them out of power nationally for awhile.

Congressman Calls Out GOP 'Cowards' Unwilling To Rebuke House Member

Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney, D-NY, discusses a resolution to strip Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of her committee assignments. Rep. Maloney also discusses why he says many Republicans won't speak out against Rep. Taylor Greene.

I wish I could see it that way, but in a climate where the Orange Messiah is being impeached and his jurors were coconspirators

I don't believe the GOP will do anything to stop her

I'm not sure how much this guy represents "the base", but something to consider.

Good video. I did lol at his 'self funded' statement though. I know I saw more than a couple videos of bused in supporters. Not to mention that the Russian military was spending over $1.25 million a month leading up to the 2016 election and never stopped for the next 4 years.

he's waiting for Trump TV to tell him what to do next..don't they ever get tired of waiting for him to do something..anything?
They will be waiting for his indictment and trial next, then his first day of prison, and finally a long silence, except for when he is tried on a new crime or being sued out of existence.
