Mr. Peabody: First Grow: Entering 9th Week of Flower: Your Feedback Wanted!

Just entering the 9th week... (02) LSD and (02) God Bud

LSD is suppose to be a 9 week Flower, but many actual growers post 10 to 11 weeks~ how do these look?

I had a 'mentor' that has become unavailable all of a sudden
I will be getting a mini micro scope for looking at the trichomes as soon as stores open after christmas..

in the interim, any feedback on how these look would be greatly appreciated! I am reading faq's and what not, and many opinions vary, that's why I appreciate direct feedback! thanks! merry christmas and happy holidays!

ps..the fluorescents are only so that you can actually see the true color of the plant...they are under a 1000W HPS!

What you like feedback on? Any perticular area?

They look almost done. Pretty nice! Bit burnt on some leaves but otherwise good job.

What system? hydro/soiless etc?

What nutes?

Environment?

i've entered into the 10th week now...tricomes are showing 70% cloudy but are the flowers (buds) grown to full density and fullness? Many grow strain sites say this flower turns purple and I've only just spotted one little purple pistail....the GOD BUD is the more orange pistail looking plants and their leaves are much greener than than the LSD's..

So i'm kinda flying blind, everyone at this point tend

what's the benefit and draw back of letting them go another two weeks making a total of 11 weeks flowering? (other than the 'couch/energetic buzz perspective on the trichomes)

When defining a plants readiness there are more things to base it on than just trichomes, there is the swell, where your bud gets denser and fills out, the receeding or curling brown/orange pistils, the overall look and appeance, and also trichomes, Some strains the trich's take a very long time to change,

Some green leaves towards the end of your flowering is not a bad thing.

Are you going to be flushing your plant or feeding until the bitter end?

I''m not sure about the flushing...to be honest, that's kinda some of the feedback I am looking for...

what you said above makes total sense to me and no one yet has made comments about the fullness and density and what not.

what do you think? should I wait another week and re-evaluate?

I have given them only ph'd water the last two waterings

the watering on last sunday, I gave about 30% of recommended amounts of Karma and Yellow Bottle Final Bloom

like i said to me they look very nearly done, if you wanted to wait another week then wait.

i have tried many different variations of flushing/not flushing and can honestly say that once cured there is virtually no difference in the end product.

Have a search around RIU about flushing etc .

As for what you have been using i do not know it. I only use CANNA A/B with PK1314.

I've been growing in Pro-Mix BX for almost a decade and have never flushed a plant. This is done to get rid of salts and nutrient build-ups you might taste in the weed. I've smoked it both ways and I can't tell a difference. Then again, I'm a pack a day smoker and coffee drinker, so I can't taste anything anyway.

The only way you know these girls are ready to go is by checking with the scope. No clear left in the crystals, all cloudy, with a touch of amber. Less amber for an energetic head high, more amber, but not more than 50%, for the "I'm sunk into the couch where am I" body high.

If I'm not mistaken, I can see big swelled calyxs on some of those, so you are right about done, as jondamon said. Looking good, have fun with your impending harvest.
