moving to colorado in october

So i got a solar job in CO and will be moving at the end of sept, begining of oct and am looking for advice on some places to look for rental properties. i have to be within driving distance of Denver but would rather not live in the city. There are a few areas that i already know i cant live. Aurora, Commerce city, Denver, castle rock, fort lupton, and louisville all have laws in place that would allow them to come take my dog and kill him because he is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier sooooo gotta stay away from those. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as i have no experience with the area.Thanks.

Thanks for the suggestions. cant wait for the move. still got 6 weeks of school left and all i can think about is COLORADO.

Dude I hear you man! We took off(my wife and I) to San Diego for two months, now in Vegas until November and then BACK HOME!!! I live up in the Fort Collins area about 50 miles from downtown Denver though..

50 or so miles sounds doable. commuting into denver would not necessarily be an everyday thing. are there cheaper rents in that area compared to denver. sorry, i know i'm asking questions out the ass.

Keep in mind the grind of a daily commute. Its really nice to live close to your work. I've worked on the construction phase of a couple of solar projects.

Hey,
I recently moved to the Denver area, but am not sure of anyones pit bull laws, I had no idea any of those went through in amerika. Are you planning on getting a MMJ card? If you don't know anyone out here or if you do, either way. You should private message me and we should toke if you are planning on doing all that. This is a MJ website though, so I'm sure.

Stay out the city, live in Golden, you're right on the i70 closest to the mountains (1 hour to keystone).. Beautiful landscape, not flat like east Denver. Aurora is ghetto don't consider it like the others on the no way list due to your dog, they happen to be shitty area's minus castlerock. Lakewood is dope, they just extended the lightrail to the Mill exit which is clutch, Lodo is nice, but not ideal if you're a grower... Best clubs are downtown (mmj and nightlife); (15min with little traffic from Golden). If you're into the mountains but work in Denver living in Gennese is a great option, unless you commute to East Denver. You don't need to talk to anyone about you're card, look in the Westward which is a free magazine that is available daily. Call one of the 1000's of doctors advertised, and you'll likely only pay $100 for the visit, then $90 to the state, and these days you're card is returned within 30 days. Mine came in 12 working days. If a skier make sure to get that "epic" pass before thanksgiving, its only like $500 for Keystone, Breck, Abasin, 10 days at Vail or Beaver Creek. Be the best winter of you're life. BTW there is Pit Bull Laws, not to my knowledge is laws prohibiting your dog. Welcome to the most beautiful state in the US (excluding Hawaii :-)). :joint:
