Moving seeds 24 hours into germ help

Hey guys new member here so first i wanna start by saying greetings to all, ive been browsing around since signing up and gaining alot of knowledge aswell as other places on the internet before starting my first grow alongside my cousin whos done a couple in the past. Props to the site its amazing hence why im very compelled to post this in my time of worry :)

Basically ill try to keep it as simple but as detailed as possible.

Were going to be doing an indoor hydro grow in my tent using a 4 pot wilma.

Yesterday my cousin come round to begin the process and we were going to start germinating the seeds, my cousin cut 6 pretty pittyful cubes from a rockwool slab and pinched holes out the middle , rinsed them under my tap, gave them a squeese and plopped the seeds in the holes. Put them into a ceramic bowl with another one on the top and put into my just above room temperature tent.

Something was playing on my mind i asked him about it and he seemed to think it didnt matter that much and that was pH. After backing up what i thought by almost every hit from the first 2 pages of a google search for "germinating seeds in rockwool" i just couldnt stop thinking about the High ph of the rockwool and the fact that we hadnt even measured my water yet. Anyway this morning i rushed out and baught a ph testing kit, tested my water from my tap which was reading at around 7. That was it for me the already high alkaline that is said to be in the rockwool and the 7 from my tap i was pretty sure that the rockwool the seeds were sat in were pretty damn high into the alkaline areas.
I tried to search the internet for information on moving seeds during germination but nothing seemed to give me a definitive answer... with all the negativity surrounding it and the shoddy cubes anyway and the fact that seeds can be moved with a big tap root out the back as long as everything is delicate and sterile.... i decided to transplant into better cubes.

So i got some water and filled up a bowl adding the tiniest microdrop of PHDown, swished the water round and soaked the cubes for around 3 hours.... (some sites said like 20 minutes some said 24 hours... as i was on what i thought was a timer i decided for 3 hours) ... i tested the ph by squeesing the water out of a test cube (i have a test tube ph tester) and the water was around 6 ... i didnt wanna start adding more ph and stuff so i decided that this was a good Ph.
In the dark (very low light) i proceeded to carefully open the rockwool cubes and with pre sterilised tweesers i gently began performing the move out of the old cubes into my new much more suitable cubes with surgical precision (I shocked myself), around 1/4 inch deep into the rockwool. I quickly examined the seeds and they seemed pretty much the same as they arrived except the top of each one had i assume began to crack as there was a tiny round hole in the top of each one and slight colour change to lighter on the tip. After knowing my cousin already placed them pointy end down i assumed that this was where the tap root would come from and made sure that these small holes were facing up. I covered them back up much in the same way he did and put them back into my tent.

And now i am sat here wondering have i just made a big mistake, im pretty sure they would have germinated in the first high ph rockwool cubes anyway but would have probably not had the best start to life.......
I need an expert or experts to tell me have i in some way damaged the germination process of these seeds now? Theyre 100% feminised barneys blue cheese.

Constructive criticisms are more than welcome this is the start of something that ive wanted to embark upon for a long time but only just finally got my own property and means. Thanks guys i look forward to your replies hopefully answers will come quicker from this forum than the little blighters themselves.

Get a humidity dome and a PH pen. Set up the dome and get your Rockwool ready by soaking rockwool in ph rooting solution than swing your arm in a circle to remove excess water Don't squeeze Rockwool ever.Put the Rockwool in the Dome and get it to temp; than add your seeds for your method.Remove Baby plants one day after they loose their shell.

As for your existing seeds if the have cracked and you disturbed them you will be fucked with a very slow start at the least or maybe a herm later?

Thanks for the answer mate, although a good answer and a good mini guide it didnt really answer the specific question of which i had i guess it was hard to extract from everything i writ, what i want to specifically know is A) Will my seeds still pop after the journey theyve been on (everything described in my post) ... and more importantly B) Did the procedure which I myself did have any adverse affect on them (transfering from rockwool cube to rockwool cube 24hours into germ)

Well i only need 4 of the 6 to be okay , theres 5 feminised blue cheese, and 1 double berry

And the seeds themselves looked fine still all black it was just the tip had a small pin hole in it and tiny bit of colour loss more white than black, im not sure what stage this is at as this is my first time germing anything atall LOL
