moving purple kush indoor

heres my outdoor purple kush..this is the only picture i can upload right now because my camera sucks but more will come later, along with my indoor auto grow..



so its supposed to get really cold and possibly snow this weekend, so i guess i have to buy a $200 light and move it inside in the next couple days. im not an experienced indoor grower so i might need some help with this. will moving it indoor stress it?
Buying a heater would be much better then overpaying for a light, do you think a heater would work as well as moving it indoor?

I think trying to heat the air surrounding an outdoor plant with a heater is extremely inefficient and uneconomical. By the time you are done paying to power the heater whether it be fuel or electric, it will have been the same price if not cheaper and less time and energy from you to just buy the light and bring it in. You would be surprised just how cold of temps they can handle. I deff would not try to heat the air around the plant outside however. Just bring it inside if you are that worried. Might not be a bad idea to make sure the ballast and bulb you get is switchable and it has a metal hallide bulb included. You can then use it to start seedlings or clones in the winter months for transplanting outside when springtime comes.

I agree with Silus, a lamp is a much better investment, to even try to drape it in plastic and heating it outdoors is just asking for mold...

yeah, thats what i figured. im buying the light from my uncle so im not sure if he has a MH bulb, but i can get one if he doesnt. i dont need it now though, i have plenty of cfls on my autos that i could use for seedlings later. has anyone grown this strain? im wondering if it will turn purple.

Don't quote me on this but with that strain, I think only 20-30 percent of plants will turn purple. In the future you could check out another strain, can't think of the name but 80% of the plants turn purple. I'll comment again if I remember which strain it was. I guess theres only one way to find out if yours will go purple

heres the mini greenhouse i just made for it..

so i have a 250w hps bulb that ill use for this plant when i get the fixture and reflector for it. any suggestions for when i move it indoor?

im going to clone this plant today. i have never tried cloning before so looking for helpful suggestions
