Moving for cannabis?

I have a spot in my heart for growing. Yet I fear the ramifications I might endure growing were I currently live. I do not have anyone, ie family and or friends
in a mmj state. I am unsure of making a move for cannabis alone. Im open to your thoughts guys and girls. By the way CO is were I was thinkin of going. Peace everyone

Lol. This post caught my eye. I am going to be doin the same thing xoming up here in April. I live in a very south state where there is no mmj and laws are very strict. Out of all the states I choose colorado for the weather and the mountain views ( which I have never even seen before) this is going to be a big move for me. I don't have much family but it will still be hard to move that far away from home. I think its a great idea and you should go for it!!!! STAY HIGH MY FRIEND!!!

My daughter graduates in a couple years and I have all intenion of heading to a legal grow state. CO is what I have been looking at as well. I grow every veggie you can think of lots of flowers and I love it. I hate I have to hide one or two plants away as they are the ones that get the most attenion.

Personally, if you consider moving so you can grow cannabis then i tend to think that this person is not growing solely for personal use. Growing for yourself requires near no space and the risk is so small as to be pretty much non-existent so long as you don't act like a fool.

Yes, that is my intent, I want to grow a damm field lol

tip top opinion noted. however I am interested in growing for myself. The laws in my state are as follows. 5 yrs mms for cultivation of any amount, first offense. This is why I asked.

5 yr minimum yikes, kids here at my sons high school get caught all the time they have to pick up trash on the side of the road for a month. 5 years for a plant or two is insane.

I love awesome cannabiscand i too want to move so i can grow without fear of prosecution. In non legal states, any small mishap canfuck you for life.

Not worth the risk. I had to toss 4 plants all doing fine, but i just couldnt handle losing everything for some plant

Point being it's near impossible to get caught growing a couple of plants in your wardrobe, hence why countless people do it just fine regardless of location. Any small mishap in countless things can fuck up your life, not just cannabis, but personally i prefere just enjoying my life while i am alive, i don't see a point in living a life of fear and i'm not personally going to uproot my entire life just to grow a plant for personal use. It is certainly simply one persons opinion but i find people get way too paranoid over the possibility of getting caught growing a plant in your closet.

Although I agree with tip top about using very little space to grow for personal use. But I disagree on not having to be paranoid. I grow for myself and only my self, but still find it hard to rest easy some time. I am not looking to get in on the green rush or to make a penny from mmj. I just want to have the freedom to germinate a seed if I want to. Let alone if I want to go burn a doobie with a buddy on the other end of town, am I supposed to drive with something illegal and not be paranoid about it. Just my 2€. STAY HIGH!!!

Do it man...me and my wife were sitting in ga one night burning some sour d, we both came to the conclusion that we love bud and should live where it's plentiful...so the next month we packed up our shit and moved, found an apt the day we got here, and have been loving Colorado ever since!

Yea I'm moving too haven't decided yet whether it's CO, WA, OR or CA, but one of those Got family in CO tho... maybe too cold for the misses, and there are advantages for us to living on the west coast geographically.. we'll see. But yeah, it only takes one thing to go wrong and your life is e-fukt in texas. Plus it's FUCKING hot here people move all the time for different reasons... why not to grow?

Moved from NY about a month ago to the springs and won't ever go back! Besides being mj friendly the weather is kick ass view of mountains amazing and so far everyone has been so pleasant to deal with. Already got my recommendation and waiting on my card/approval. We didn't move solely for mj but it was high on our positive list. Grew for about a yr and saved up enough loot to make the move. So happy to be here! CO kicks ass!!!

Dude I went to winter park last week with a buddy visiting from TX and a guy he played lax with who live in Denver and downhill mountain biking was the shit! Scary as fuck fer sure but what an awesome time! Shit like that would never be legal in NY cause there the government knows what's best for you and god forbid you make ur own decisions and get hurt.

In my experience, mountain biking has only caused loss of blood and skin. Snowboarding has royally jacked me up though. Separated shoulder and lower back trauma from "air gone bad" have me in eternal physical therapy and pain management.

Having said that, I am now wise enough to stay away from the downhill mt bike parks. I don't have enough self control to keep from hucking off of the big drops, but my cross country bike would not handle the landing well. I've got a wife and kids and somebody has to pay the bills. What a drag it is getting old...
