move to 150w hps for flower?

Hey guys just looking for some insight. I have a plant I grew in between seed orders. It's about 2 feet and my seedlings haven't even come close to catching up (obviously) been vegging for about 6 weeks. Thinking of moving it inside from my normal growing area and putting it under a 150w hps. Just wondering if that would be a good idea or if I should just try finishing it off with cfls. I was also thinking about putting it in flower and then when the seedlings go into 12/12 putting it back in that room to finish. It'll take at least another 4 weeks for the little girls to catch up but it needs to move in my opinion. Just getting too big and it doesn't look strong enough to save as a mother. I'm in 5 gallon bubble buckets. Hydroton media and lucas formula with gh nutes. Any advice or input would be awesome!

Always use an HPS for flowering over CFL's. I'm a little buzzwd I hope that was your question.

2 feet...the plants already to tall for the 150...bend it right over as to expose more of the plant to the usefull light area....put that light about 8 or ten inches above it...Then when you have done this ...DO SOME RESEARCH, at least learn some basic fundimentals.....you will become a better grower in the longterm. just sayin.

the problem isn't that i have a 150w hps it's that it outgrew my growing area. i have a 2+ foot plant next to 4 inch seedlings and what i was wondering is if a 150w hps would flower it correctly or give me a crap yield. everything else is under a 1000w bulb so the issue was never enough light. it what more of what to do with the big girl. i planted her seed in between seed orders and didn't expect to get such a monster or to have my order be delayed. right now i'm just tying it down to get it through it grow and next time i won't be so silly as to not wait to plant all of my seeds at once. that. or just only grow one if i plant one haha. this thing has been vegging for awhile now. it's gonna get huge!
