Alas the day is coming soon. TV has the usual ads, with some not too bad deals..

If you don't do something for your mother or at least call you're a turd by the American sheep norm

but even so it is really nice to do something for your mom. Today I am taking her out because it will be crowded as fuck on actual mother's day, so we're saving us that hassle.

And we will be very ripped. Endless buffet!

I'm gonna be the guy cooking and serving your endless buffet. Enjoy, I don't get to spend mothers day with my mom...I just get to watch other families have fun and stuff themselves for brunch.

do sumthing nice for your mom all year round, skip mothers day, just sumthing made up like most, to make us consumer use more on useless junk

I was going to say exactly the same. I couldn't be there to say one word to my ma this year because i was too busy making sure everyone else's mother was happy. In a way though i considered that as my gift to my ma, her knowing that i started work in the wee hours and didn't get a lunch break till 7:30pm, mamma didn't raise no crackhead.
