Mothering

Please teach about techniques of mothering, I am a little confused. I am an intermediate indoor grower and am now curious about the whole 'mothering' path. How to you choose a mother? can you ever harvest it? is it only used for cloning? How do you create a generation mother?

A mother is normally the healthiest plant. Nothing but that. Any plant that cuts are taken, for clones, is a mother. Yes you can flower any mother.
