I have a Bestva 1000watt led light in a 4x4 grow tent and 4- 30gallon smart pots ( fabric pots) in organic living soil. I was just wondering do you guys think this would be sufficient for 4-5 mother plants to keep them healthy?

The Bestva 1000 draws 185 watts from the wall. Thats not much light at all for 16 sq ft. For that setup I'd plant two, in 3 to 5 gallon smart pots.

What would you guys sudgest for lighting in that space for mother’s wothout breaking the bank, that why I was going to go with led I figured that light would be pretty similar for output to floros

If you plan on absolutely filling up that tent you want a minimum of 30 actual watts of light per sq foot. 35 to 40 is better, per square.
An LEC 315 watt Ceramic Metal Halide can cover 3 x 3 feet well.
450 to 500 watts of Cob Cree led or the same amount of HLG Quantum Board led would cover all 4 x 4.
Some folks use dehydrators late in flower to lower humidity, eliminating the chances of excessive humidity or bud rot. Most use a fan or two. So many dont use up all their available space in their tents.

Assess how you wanna roll, how much footage u need for LIGHT , plan on 35 watts per sq, as a minimum. 40-45 watts per square is better.
Purple or Pink lighting will work, but light fluffy popcorn buds, usually. (Fuck BLURPLE lights)
WHITE led lighting or CMH lighting is a closer spectrum to the sun. You can actually see your plants well to observe problems that may be happenin. And the growth EXPLODES.

For just keeping mothers? a 315 cmh or a 400w Metal halide.
Last I looked at my old veg tent you couldn't fit more than 4x 10gal pots in there.

It will support mothers fine, but you need to keep them short... lst and keep taking clones. You do have very big pots. I am using this light for same purpose and it is wonderful for it. Clones grow great in corner where light is lower. I'm a big fan of these lights. We have to remember, a lot of the HID lights lose considerable energy to heat and useless light. These bestva are cheap, but growth is strong, no stretch, and I am extremely happy.
