Mother question

Ok so I have a for sure female that I still have in veg that i want to keep as a mother plant to take clones from. It has pistils with white hairs coming out in multiple places, it's not gonna start forming buds and I can keep it as a mom right? It's on 24/0 under 4 foot floros 1 warm 1 cool white bulb in each fixture. any help would be appreciated.

Those are pre-flowers. Keep the light on 24hrs and it wont flower. Take clones when ya like.

thanks for the reply! I had one more question though, I grew this plant from bag seed and from seed its a little over 2 months old, however my plant is still rather small at only 9 inches. I use fox farms soil, age old grow nutes and try to keep temps and humidity in good ranges and I just transplanted it from a 2 gallon to a 5 gallon pot last week.. I'm wondering if it may be because I kept the lights too close to the plant from its early life?

I kept my lights right off the deck on mine and their not tall for their age .I now wonder if i messed up. I didnt want to strech you know-

Yea I just started a new batch of seeds last week and I kept the light farther and they were alot taller then my first batch so maybe the trick is height control during the first couple weeks of life? I dunno, I just wanted to make sure I didn't mess something else up

The shorter and bushier the denser the bud.

So it's not a bad thing necessarily? I just figured with it being so short it's not gonna be a great mother plant

Here is my mother plant 4 weeks into flower. had her for a year. blueberry F1 hybrid. good luck man. EDIT my avitar is my first harvest from her ALOT better than my latest I got impatient and flowerd too early so I have lots of midgets LMFAO
