Mother plant light - 150wMH vs Mars Hydro TS1000LED

Hello, I've got unused 3x3 tent and I wanna use it for mother plant. I want an advice for light, should I buy 150w MH or Mars Hydro TS1000 (148 true watts)? Thank you very much

I know i've recieved message from him, I just wanna know what will be better or what are ur opinions guys. I've never used LEDs.

I use the Mars 2000 and they seem to work fine

Leds seem to use less power and put out less heat so win win

How many cuts are you trying to get? 150 watts doesn't seem like much light.

I got one of those small Mars lights last year and I was shocked at how hot they got, it was one of the 2 ft x 2 ft ones. It's in my garage now collecting dust, I replaced it with a 2 ft/4 bulb T5 fixture and like it better all around.

if heat isn't an issue I'd veg with the MH

32 cuts every 2,5 month +-. Is it too much? Or should I go with 2 mothers plants?

No, I have another small tent with 100w T5 for seedlings and clones, and another tent with 2x600w, and another tent with 400w. I am a beginner and I've never kept a mother plant so I just wanna know If 150w MH/LED will be ideal for a nice medium size LST'd topped mother to provide me a good cuttings or if I should go with more watts, mothers ...

If it's either a 150 watt MH or LED, go with the LED, more light! I own a TS1000 and it will veg you a pretty sexy mother plant in a 3x3, don't worry about it.
