mother help

i have 2 northern lights clone that i want to make mothers there about 6 inches tall and i was wondering if anyone could give me some advice if it would be a good time to top then if at all

So the 2 plants you have are the actual mothers or you want to clone off those and make the new clones the moms? If they are the moms to be dont crop them at all just keep them in veg with 24 houres of light or no less then 18/6 lights

so if there the moms to be i souldnt top them

Nope no need to top unless you want to stop them from growing and want to use the tops as clones. Its gonna be a space issue. If you top them it will slow the entire growth down for a while then you will have 2 tops to deal with.I let my moms go then take what I need. Then again Im not too worried about height my moms are at 5 feet and about 4 months old

no im not worried about height I am more worried about the amount of babies i can make i a the shortest amount of time

Well I keep 5 moms for no apparent reason and if I want can pull 100 off each plants at this point not that I need that many.You can see them in my gallery pics. But 1 mom at 3 or 4 feet well taken care of can give easy 40 50 babies at a time
