Warrington Council would rather you stick a needle of heroin in your arm than you light up a joint! Seriously, I am not lying. They have been working on a new campaign to spread utter crap about cannabis. But as soon as the campaign was set to be released a huge amount of complaints flooded in and has forced them to suspend the campaign pending investigation regarding the wacky claims they made.

“Cannabis can now be stronger than heroin and cannabis related crime is now the most common drug related crime in Warrington.”

Well, apparently if a person has some underlying (or not so underlying) mental problems like depression, then weed can make those conditions feel more intense.

Say, If you're doing something illegal (such as walking around high as a kite, with a tiny amount of weed in your pocket) then naturally you might feel a little "shy" (or paranoid) of that fact. To make matters worse, being high means that your feeling of paranoia is increased!

Though, it could have all been avoided if those idiots didn't make a simple herbal plant Illegal, just so the tree cutting industry could prosper.
So in other words, it is not necessarily the fault of the weed that people become paranoid, but it is the fault of the reason why people are paranoid. And in this case the reason why people get paranoid while smoking weed, is because smoking weed is illegal. If smoking weed was legal, then I am pretty certain that people would not get so paranoid... Not about weed, at least!

It's not just the weed that makes you paranoid. What makes you paranoid is the fact that you are smoking an "illegal" plant, and after you smoke it, you get more paranoid that you're smoking something illegal because that is the nature of weed. Any wize smoker should know this. So this lady in this topic is clearly not a wise smoker.

I have always found paranoia keeps me out of trouble. I like a little paranoia, its good for you if you learn how to read it!

If I wasn't a paranoid person I would be locked up by now :twisted:

Although the fact that this wonderful plant is illegal and you can get into trouble for it does increase paranoia levels. If it was legal I would feel safe carrying it to my friends but I don't so I have to get a taxi or bus, I don't like walking more than I have to with anything the law doesn't agree with in my pocket.
