moped insurance?

been poking around online looking for quotes and cant find anything. anyone have a moped and wanna share what they pay for insurance on it? cant blaze in my parents car..or get blazed and drive it lol that one didnt go over well

In my state if it's less then 50cc you don't need insurance. Of course i see the DUIs on them that are definitively more than 50cc and never had a problem. Shrug. Sorry I can't be of more assistance.

Your best insurance choice is to buy a good Snell-rated helmet and not settle for the permissive cheap DOT standard. Imo. cn

A good moped properly maintained should last you for decades. I see them making a comeback in the zombie apocalypse.

hopefully by than theres an engine that runs off weed smoke than it wouldnt be such a hassle filling up the tank

You can make a gassifier that runs an engine on wood vapor. I wonder if it can be done. I'll look into it. I know you were joking but now I'm interested. Maybe use the crazy thick stems that outdoor growers get.

The diesel engine was made to run "by a variety of fuels, especially vegetable and seed oils". One of the first biofuels to run a diesel engine was made of hemp oil. Been around for over a century it seems. Idk any diesel mopeds or scooters tho.
