Month old plant ready for nutes????

ok my plants are going to be one month old a 1 week tommarrow and i was wondering if i can start feeding them nutes at full force heres some pics but should i transfer them to a new pot first because the roots are coming out of the drainage holes??????

You can move them to a bigger pot if you want, especially if roots are coming out of the drainage holes. As for the nutes I'd test them with something less than full strength to see how they respond to the feeding. You don't want to give them nute burn. If it were me I'd do a half to three-quarter strength dose.

k thnx u guys helps alot but since my water schedule is once every week u guys thiunk i should maybe do it at 1/4 dose or will half be fine???? and can u guys tell me anything about the lower leaves???? THNX!!!

Hey NOOB,
Have you given your babies any nukes at all up to this point? If so, how much? IF you have been giving 1/4 strength, then move up to 1/2. If you've been giving 1/2 strength, then move up to 3/4... get what I'm saying?

I would also suggest stepping up your watering schedule to twice a week - once with nukes and once without.

All in all they look wonderful and don't worry about a few bottom leaves, they don't stick around forever ya know...lol

yeah i get it but, so far i foilar feed for about one week than i stoped because they were getting nute burn. Since than the only thing i feed to one of my plants was the one that had a mg defiancy it still looks like it does so imma continue doin it. WWW, ive tried doin a twice a week watering but during the time i was doing that green stuff kept popping up on the soil, they told me that it was mold or algea, and thnx WWW i was kinda tweaking about the bottom leafs, BTW this is my first grow how do u guys think i am doing at 1 month and a week??? and would 5 gallon pots be good for my plant????

Hey N00b - give them 1/4 strength nukes for the next 2 feeds, then step them up to 1/2 strength and then full strength. By then, you will be ready to start flowering...

You can put some perilite around the base of your plant if the "green stuff" you are talking about is algae. It won't really do anything, it's just unsightly.

are you sure you have mg defficiency, this is my first grow and i thought i had it, turns out it was just nute burn, and it completely fucked the bottom few leaves on my plant. I added epsom salts for the mg defficiency which made it worse

im pretty sure its MG cuz it has all the sytoms leave sorta yellowing than browing tips curl down than the edges start facing up PRAYIONG FOR MG

cool, could be MG probs then. how are they doing now? Mine did that though as well, think my problem was a mix of nute burn and a ph problem from too many nutes which probably gave a few defficiencies. Yours might not be the same, but if they don't seem to improve keep it in mind that over nuting can cause quite a bit of trouble.:peace:

im mixing my nutes by gallon and on the fert box it sahows how to mix it and what is full strength and shit... but yeah i was thinking it would have been something wrong with the PH but i have no way of reading that because i have no idea where to get a freaking ph reader

you can try a fish supplies store but i dont think the ph is right with the reader from them! you can always order one or go to a specialty shop for growing if there is one in your area!
