~ Mom Went Under The Knife Today ~

trying something new to me for keeping a mom in a 1 gallon pot instead of transplanting to larger. this will help with space in the mom closet..if i were to go 2-3 gallon it would just take to much room.

so lets see how this goes..this is a NL mom that i have kept in this pot and cloned for the last 5 months. she was starting to yellow and was very root bound..i took 12 clones from her today and decided it was time for the knife.

i cut the root ball on all four sides and bottom...cutting the root mass in more then half..you can see the ball is the size of a 16oz cup now.

then gave a good soaking in 6.5 ph water with superthrive..placed in new soil and lightly watered. she is in the original pot on the back right of the closet.

we will now wait and see...:leaf:

i was like poor big mike his mom is going into surgery. i guess your mom was involved but not how i thought lol.

i did something similar with a male i was going to collect pollen from. it didnt do much for 2 weeks, but was fine. :blsmoke:
