Hey guys. my mom suffered a lyphoma type cancer in her lyphnodes in her next about 4 years ago. she did the whole radiation and went through alot mentally as well as physically.

right now she is "disabled" she wants to work again in the future but right now she is mentally unstable (she feels like the cancer is still there and its going to kill her eventually, she is worried sick about it)

anyways she is on disability, she gets a whopping 800 bucks a month which covers almost to a T her bills, 600 bucks rent, 100$ cable and 100$ lights. she wants to get her card because she is a excellent gardener and feels she can grow enough in the summer to last her all year. she cant afford to pay for it so i have been helping her out. the problem is she wants to get legal so we can get her someplants going this summer and she dosent have to worry about going to jail over it.

im wondering if theres a doctor in Maine that does any pro bono cases. I have been wanting to give her the money but shit is tight for me right now too. Just lost my job before X mas and working on getting back on my feet.

anyways enough of the sob story, anyone know of any doc's that can help my mom out, she cant afford to pay 300 bucks to go see someone. she is on mainecare so if they will accept that....

Hi Matt,
Are you guys near Bangor by chance?
My wife is on Mainecare also. She is seen at Winterport Family Medicine. They referred her to an office in Corinth that is associated with them.
The Corinth office accepts mainecare to get certificates. My wife got hers there through Mainecare.
It's About time they started giving the option as it will save them alot in future Medications and costly doctor visits.
My wife is doing Rick Simpson Hemp Oil treatments and is getting better steadily.
She has been poisoning herself with Prescription drugs for 7 years and although it is still a long road ahead, She can now get up and get around the house and do things she hasn't done in years.
Mainecare should give MMJ a larger role in treating people. It will save them alot of money in the long haul.
I Hope this helps

man i give her so much medicine just because she dosent want to grow because of legal issues. she has a wicked green thumb and i bet she would grow some awesome mmj. but she dosent dare due to the laws and the risk of going to jail

why doyou say she wont go to jail even without a card?

even if she wouldnt face jail time she cant afford the hefty fine that would be associated with growing just one plant.
