Wife just received her first shipment. Apparently it looks and smells better than the tweed stuff. Ill finding when I get home how it's working for her. Dinner on the table usually means she's in less than normal pain ;)
What did she get? I ordered Rene mist yesterday. I always enjoyed pink kush and the og shark.

She got diamond OG, master kush, and Equinox.

Master kush has a hint of hay in the aroma. The other two smell as expected. None of them are pungent enough to stink up the room they are in. (I'm happy wth this as sometimes the aroma from cannabis aggravates my wife's nausea)

So far so good with lp #3. I still can't understand how people are supposed to afford this. My wife's tiny 2g/day prescription is $300 - $720 per month. Here's hoping February works out for all of us!

So tru about the cost. What I have found that helps out a bit is the dispensaries. My rx is for 7g/day.
I cannot afford my whole rx at all. I have had to supplement it by buying off the street, I've had to go without and I'm so waiting for next year!

At least there's some cannabis available now. My wife started cannabis treatment back in December( forced mmpr without a chance to go mmar) - no LP had Anything available at all. With no "connections" she had to use garbage b/m. until we could get a legal shipment. What a fucked up system - legal tax paying citizens forced to choose between the law and their wellbeing!

Then we went through the tweed fiasco - after ordering 13 some strains and over 200g worth of there garbage we gave up and finally got her switched over to Tilray. So far so good there. The three strains have actually helped ease some of her pain. Trying another order of 3 different strains. I'm always hoping to find that magical strain that takes her migraine away. Still have yet to find it!

Just re-read that after posting it...

I sounded like a dick.

I understand my wife has been through a tough time with this but it's no where near to what the pioneers of this movement went through! Thank you for paving the road to relief for so many!

I don't think you sounded like a prick at all...just someone concerned about the well-being of their spouse...nothing wrong with that!

Glad things are working out for you and your wife Brewery. I seem to recall that suicide Cheese was a good migraine strain. I somehow have that stuck in my mind.
Migraines are pretty debilitating for sure. When you got a migraine going you ain't gonna be doing much else. Glad she is getting some relief.

Your not going to like this answer but, magic mushrooms have shown great success in preventing/minimizing migraines/cluster head aches. No doc will prescribe them in Canada that i know of. You can grow your own supply rather easily. All you need is to order the spores online. Everything else you'll need you should be able to buy locally.

I've actually researched this option a bit. I've not talked to my wife in earnest about it though as cannabis was a 2 year fight to get her to try it. (She doesn't drink, never smoked tobacco, and never tried cannabis prior.)

Still doesn't drink, never tried tobacco, but smokes/vapes/ and eats cannabis like cheech! Funny where life brings you...

From waht I've read you only need a small maintenance dose every few months. So one evening every few months she'd be out of it for several hours. And as long as you don't go around telling everyone your growing some mush no one would be the wiser.

That does suck bad! Has she tried the shark? Seriously awesome for my migraines!
Check out dispensaries my friend! I found eating edibles helped so much more for the migraine pain! Also phoenix tears, master kush oil and the Phoenix tears tincture for the blindside migraines.
*urban earth meds*- has a cbd rich oil! Also amazing for the nausea from the migraine.
-they have a few cbd and thc high strains that work well too.

This next week I'm trying electric kush, super mario, komatose kush and the Rene mist. I'll let you know how they are!
Best edible from UEM is a tie between the smore cookie and the nanaimo bar! And Im not supposed to eat chocolate because it's a trigger but I can eat those!
They also sell cannabis tea that's part tea and part bud.
AND! I can't remember if there are 5 or 6 cold drinks infused too. So good! And you do not need to eat or drink a lot to feel the effects if you have never tried edibles.
Unless you have some freakish thing where it takes a hella lot to get you good.
:)

Well it's a great resource here brewery. Some of these folks seem to know first hand. Maybe these suggestion will be of some help.
If I may ask what relief does she get from the other weeds she has been getting. Anything at all? I'm sure there must be some type that has help folks. Maybe more answers will come. Certainly better than hit and miss.

I've got my wife taking cannacaps at a .2g dose of oil 3x per day. Best medicine available imo. Pain in the ass to decarb and fill.

Hippy - as far as relief, the best we've found is when the strain manages to give her sensations on her scalp. These seem to always be combined with a release of the pressure in the frontal lobe and the base of the cranium.

I've not been able to discern what strains/cannabinoid profile/ or terpene profile is responsible for this. All I can say is the best strains seem to be hybrids that are almost 50:50 sat/ind.

CBD doesn't seem to have much or any impact on her pain.(I.e. The few CBD rich strains we've managed to acquire were not nearly as effective).

I do all the research I can on the subject but stay pretty quiet online - that is unless I'm fed-up with a terrible LP.

I'll look at that compassion club - wonder if they'll take mmpr documents...

I had not realized your wife was on the treatment as well. Hope it's working well at 600 mg's a day.
It is the best meds available for any person to MAKE!
Decarbing can be done very easily. Skunk Pharma has a few ways.
They say once herb is dry though that it is decarbed. Heat just speeds up the process. That said, most people use fresh grown herb. The point of it having to be dry and or heated to a certain point in order to activate any inactive cannaboids for ingesting purposes is key to making good meds.

as for cbd or thc... Use what you have and then...if that does not work..go from there!
