Mold?!?!

i think i may have mold in one of my plants the soil is looking slightly green on top as well as in the bottom of the clear dixi cup. is this mold should i pull the plant and how do i prevent the rest from getting it. the plant still looks healthy if i do say so myself but still im worried first grow ever no idea what im doing

i dont have a clue what a dixie cup is but when you are growing you need to protect the soil from light, hence green and black pots. if the mold is on top then gently scrape away the top layer and put a fesh layer of soil on. for the stuff on the bottom ive heard vinegar can work but never tried it myself. someone will let you know though.

You have algae or maybe moss don't worry bout it.
Green is generally ok whereas gray,white and black are generally bad.

Agreed, sounds more like algae than mold. Drier conditions will prevent this. Not saying arid, 100 degrees, but if you have algae starting you're obviously watering way too much or too often or both.

i recently had that problem - i cleaned the cups and roots and transplanted the plants in fresh soil

been doing great for over a week now (monitor your watering to prevent algae)
