mold or no mold?

so i was just checking on my plant and it is looking really good it is just covered in crystals. like so covered it is like a peace of crystal.

but now here is my question i was looking at it for like 10 min and some of the leafs have like a dust on them that i can just rub. so i am wondering if that is just dust or if it is mold. i dont think is is mold can anyone show me a pic of mold on a plant or maybe a link to a pic of a plant with mold on it.

and i will try and put some pics up tomorrow.

is it a white powder? if it is then no its not mold, all of my plants have produced this at some time. What color is the powder?

yea it is a white powder and i can just rub off. man i hope it is not mold because that plant looks so dam good.

don't worry man, thats not mold. every plant iv ever grown has had the same buildup of white powder, don't know what it is.

it can be powdery mildew, i made the mistake of thinking its the plants natural cycle that it produces that "dust." Well that dust turned out to be powdery mildew and i lost half of my crop. You need to double check and make sure its not powdery mildew because its easy to prevent but a pain the ass to control.

it could very well be mold. powdery mildew may be the culprit. +rep to 22.
