mold in curing

been hanging for 6 days went to jar them today in one of the biggest bud found some mold inside it, what should i do? should i put the jar in the sun?
lid on or off?
or is a another trick?

That sucks man... Did you have it in a dark environment? Do not let any light touch it. Separate the moldy buds don't mix them if the others are not molded but as for the moldy shit....don't know what to say man that blows.

yes in cool dark room hanging, it only in the fattest bud. the bud was a fat as pop can

i think someone on there said to put them in jars an in the sun. is this true?

if your having a mold prob let em air dry again before putting in the jar again. i say let em hang for about 10-14 days overall and then put em in the jars. it doesnt hurt once you first cut the plant to down to keep it on the same light schedule, it'll make the buds use what nutes and moisture thats left to give em a better taste.

i will do that with a fan on them

ok dont stick it in the sun, sun just ruins them
stick it in the freezer for 4 weeks in a zip lock bag
then start they drying out again

throw the mold shit out, it can be super dangerous, Dry your buds out more and keep a close eye on them. No sun.....JR

freezer will make the thc brittle.. throw the mold out you can die from that shit... dry your bud for as long as it needs.. too dry is better than mold.. better luck next time m8. . . peace

Um.... you have to get rid of the whole bud if there is mold growth. if you smoke any mold you could get very sick. For example i had a friend do that and he ended up getting a respitory infection. Before you jar it and have any question that the bud is still wet put it in the paper bag then to the jar. i don't jar it untill i can smoke the bud after drying.

stick it in the freezer for a month, the mold will die and go away.

you might get a slight case of "brittle THC" whatever that is, but it cant be as bad as throwing it away can it?

Dont throw it out... as I am sure you are having trouble doing, but Ive heard there are still no safety concerns using a moldy bud to make BHO. I have not tried it but if I had your problem and couldn't correct it, I wouldn't be scared to make some honey from it. Or what about some tea? Boiling water would kill anything funky... But then again im not sure how I have made it through life thus far without dying from ingesting many things I shouldn't haha

I guess will throw it out, i got 11 oz off 2 plants. next time i will hang smaller buds thanks for all the help
