Whats the story with molasses and hydro i see that things like flora nectar have molasses and other things in it, but i was just wondering is there something in it that is specially formulated for hydroponics as opposed to just mixing up some blackstrap molasses in your rez? i also noticed that they have a few different flavors, (pineapple rush and another i think) Anyone had experience with these... good or bad feedback TY TY

Do carbo boosters work with hidro? Ive been told molasses does nothing for hidro? Ive been trying it and the one plant I tryed it on first is much farther along budding then the others? So do carbo boosters and or molasses work for hidro or not? My plant says yes? What do you guys say?

well flora nectar is made for hydro and is basically the same thing it has molasses in the ingredients lol but i think its got some other stuff too that works better with hydro..but im trying to figure out if there are any other alternatives besides a 20-25 dollar bottle of fancied up molasses haha

Well I have been adding a light tsp of molasses to 5 gal for my ebb and flow system and there seems to be no problems ( much over a tsp per 5gal gets too syrupy) but I do see a diffrence between the plants that have been getting it and the ones that havent. The one that has been getting molasses has much more bud.

I love molasses in my organic soil grows. I recently added Sweet by botnicare to my hydro nute mix. Its derived from raw cane sugar so it does pretty much the same thing. It does make the flavors of the bud a little sweeter but so does 3 dollar molasses. They make it in citrus too but I haven't tried it.

YaK

just some guy
mollasses + hydro = NO

I've tried, twice. stupid move.

you can find out for yourself id you'd like, or just... grow your weed and enjoy it.

if anything, maybe grow one plant that you wouldnt mind to destroy, and impliment mollasses, and see how well it works for you.

good luck with that.

I recently smoked some herb that was flushed and then a few days before harvest he added a cup of grape juice to the bucket. The stuff smoke tasted like fruit punch, it was really sticky, and he said that it doubles the trics on the buds in a few days.

Interesting? After adding molasses to my tanks the plants are sucking up about 3 times the water and growing super fast. That seems like a good thing to me. It seems it must be working or how could they suck up sooo much water and take off like this?

i think I'm gonna just suck it up and get a bottle of flora nectar it should last for awhile and its also derived from molasses and raw cane sugar so should work good.
I also seen Floralicious Plus, has anyone had good or bad experiences with this?? says its just an all organic enhancer to add along with your nute program..im all for enhancers :bigjoint:
Thanks for you replies everybody
