Have you personally ever ran Swami's gear? I ask because there was a thread here somewhere about his genetics and someone came in saying he was a liar and his genetics were garbage lol. Not saying they are or aren't, I just would like to see some finished pics from some RIUers and hear some first-hand reports...... cause personally they sound really great. Would be good breeding material if they are as worked as he states in the catalog
Ive not but I think I would have to call bullshit. Yeah Im with you, Id like to hear what people who have really run them have to say as they look like fire. Just knowing his background I call bullshit on any nay sayers. If I had the means to get some now I would order some and try myself.

The old school Maui Wowie had that unmistakable smell even on the male. Sent me right back to Maui and 1975. Can't wait to see what the crosses produce.

The cross with MDL #1 is my most hopeful producer :)

I am digging all of the purple stems. She has had a ton of PK (MOAB), Silica (ProTekt), and 1-10-1 guano. So I know it is not a deficiency!

The smell is the best yet. I can't wait to try some :weed: bongsmilie
They can get striped from a quick temp drop, or a single cold watering more than 5* colder than the soil is.

I usually get stripes from one of those factors before a deficiencincy !

Don't mind my spelling I'm on wine and rum, lol

She looks real happy and real perky.

I would guess she has some source of chitin as well, either way, nicely done bra!

Hey Mo,
Just wanted to stop in to say I have a nice Maku girl. She is starting to get close to ripe. Smells great. Frosty/sticky. Good pest resistance. Gonna try to let her until the next full moon. ...if she doesn't rip her arms off first. She went off early [flowering]... mid July.

How long does this normally run? Any idea? I have 10 weeks on this one and... well, the next moon is Oct 16. Not a complaint. Just a comment. She is a beauty and getting better every day.Calyx swollen and fan leaves are starting to fade.
We are getting some cool weather. Mid 40's this AM ---- it will make 85`F... that may hasten her maturing.

They can go as long as you let them. The MDL #1 revegged after flowering.

You must decide when it is ready for you.

Do you have any pics?
Does it show very much red or purple in the leaf stems?

This is one of my favorites - she was very fuelly smelling:

I let her go to the end.

Cheers,
Mo

still kicking out nice fresh white. She has golf ball size+ buds at every node. Was just looking at her. She has a little red in the leaf stems. What is throwing me, I am much more used to plants being this swollen more toward the middle/late Oct. We usually get a hard frost early/mid Nov.

If it matters, she does have some seed.
they are on purpose... I can't help myself...

Thanks... I will let her rip. I have five or six weeks of [hard] frost free weather ahead..She is way way ahead of the plant pic in your last post. .My girl has strands of swollen calyx, but not quite foxtailing yet.
Had to take a little off her the other day... an inch of rain in a half hour dropped a branch. Took a little weight off that branch and trussed it up. After today, I'm not expecting any more rain until Dec/Jan.. Rot/mold isn't a problem.
