Hi Mohican, while we patiently wait, I wanted to show a plant I entered in the current cup comp. She's from the HR pack. I think you said in your organic thread a jilly bean x jilly bean?. She's not my finalist, sorry but left her in the cup for fun and she's now 27 inches tall. What a great smell coming off her, she finally stopped stretching and now her buds are growing

First Photobucket held me up for a Pro membership and then RIU took a big dump. I have some catching up to do!

Here are my Day 9 - 12/12 notes.

Everything is good, I started tucking branches before I took some pics so it looks a little trampled. The outside clone looks better every day and I gave her some of the tea that has brewed for 24 hours.

EC - 1.9
pH - 5.4

@Socalrob - that plant looks amazing! How did you grow something that big in a red cup?!

HR is Hyroot's Jillybean, which was the Jillanje (Mulanje x Jilly) I had gifted him at the Cup in 2013.

He gave me a male and a female. So I crossed everything with the male and BXed the male with the female too.

So HR is really a Jillanje BX.

Mulanje is the queen of African sativa strains.
Jilly Bean is TGA's Agent Orange cross the can be very orange/citrus smelling.

The indescribable smell comes from the Mulanje. It is a very unique scent and is what made it easy for me to discern that the plants from Hyroot were Jillanje.

The HR structure is really cool. One of them in my back yard is starting to reveg!

Could you please post your pic to my 2015 thread?

Thanks,
Mo

Will do, she just took off and stretched really quick. That is the exact smell coming off her, very strong orange citrus mixed with a kind of old school cannabis smell. Just beautiful. Thanks to you and @hyroot for this, looking forward to running the rest.

I had two different females I crossed. The seeds from one are called "HR" and the seeds from the other are called Maku. You can see the Maku plants on my 2015 thread. The look just like your red cup girl except a little fuller :)

It is nice to have all of the web stuff working right again.

Everything is growing great! Airing out the room because it is very humid. The temps outside today are nice and it is very sunny. :) Moved the lights a little and lowered the LED a little. Took a clone, took pictures.

EC - 1.9
pH - 5.5

Trying to lose weight around this house is almost impossible with things like this around:

Dark Chocolate Brownies

Triple Chocolate Walnut Brownies

Mexican Chocolate Twinkie with Cherry Filling

I clipped another small head from under the screen and decided to give it the clone treatment. Had a couple cubes soaking from last time and so I went for it. Clipped, dropped in water, got root gel tube, pulled the clipping out of the water and cut the stem at an angle, dipped it in the root gel, stuck it in a cube, squeezed out the water in the cube, dropped the cubed clone in my bubbler and put the bubbler in the clone dome.

It was all wilty for an hour but now it is nice and vigorous :)

It is funny, if you look at my top pictures closely there seems to be a ring of growth in the center. This sativa is a slow grower so I will just be patient and remember what LordJin's scrog looked like at this stage :)I was away today so no new pics. I am airing out the room because it got supper muggy. When I ran the refill res it took a while for the overflow to start returning water. She is a thirsty girl. Maybe I should throw some Southern Comfort in there hehe

I am letting her go now. No more tucking and weaving (maybe a little). It looks like the side with the extra light from the 2700K CFLs is growing better so I added two to the other side. This means I removed my green light and my UVB light. I may get more fixtures to add those back or maybe I will get another Kessil... I added 3 gallons of water today and aired out the room. The pictures are from before I added the two new lights.

EC - 1.9
pH - 5.7

Rechecked my water after adding everything and the EC had dropped to 1.6 so I added more Flora Nova Bloom and Superthrive. Took some more pictures with the new setup.

The left side of my pictures are all fuzzy. I may need to send this camera back for a replacement. I will perform a couple test shots to determine if it is user error or hardware.

That is so funny! I was just thinking that when I posted the pic.

This is a reprint of my 2012 grow. Photobucket messed up the links to the pictures. I am adding them back in.

Here in SoCal we get a nice selection of top shelf Mexican foods. I love fresh horchata :)

Mo, Sabrosos Mexican grill at the corner of garden grove blvd and harbor blvd. Garden grove. I order the same thing when I go, carnitas Torta sandwitch and carne asada taco. They were featured on the diners, driveins and dives show. Fantastic tortas and they're asada taco is one of the best I've ever had.
