HC is vacationing so not much happening but they will be back in Sept. and so will some new rules and regulations. HC has been doing some work over the summer as we have two new denial letters to deal with. That makes 6 denial letters we have had to deal with, won 4 so far and still working on the other two. The battle goes well, but get ready for some changes around security for trimming and drying rooms. We made some recommendations to HC and it looks like they have accepted them, we have been adding the changes to our clients applications for the last two months in anticipation of the changes coming.

Why should LP's be allowed to sell concentrates when they can't get basic growing down to a science?

Not to mention it would lead to some of the most over priced and poorly made concentrates. Given the current list of LP's inability to grow the plant properly by itself, I can only imagine what kind of a cluster fuck that would bring about. It'd be the equivalent of taking a 9th grader who just finished health sciences and telling them that they're ready to learn about brain surgery. Extremely poor, rudimentary knowledge on growing cannabis does not mean you're ready to move on to more complex things without first mastering the basic fundamentals.

I can see them trying to sell this stuff now "How about we help you cure that cancer for $100/gram, that's our compassionate pricing". Or we can expect to see what Colorado is currently experiencing, which is some edibles are being independently tested and they're finding some manufacturers product has less then %1 THC. Except here in Canada, we can't test for that as a patient. so we would be left ONCE AGAIN to take these LP's at their word. Which has already proven to be worth less then the soiless medium they grow in.

not all of them are idiots! and the good ones will make better product, with all the right factors in place. give it time the preemo is going to show up. by then, tweed ect will be on the black list page along with others. not much whistler chat!! so how they doingÉ I lived in whistler and the growers are solid as fuck there. some of the finest ive smoked, and what will their concentrates be like....

I'm fucken tired of hearing this JUST WAIT excuse to cover for lack of ability and know how on the LP's part. I've had MS for the last 8 years and have been dealing with HC and this fucken non sense the whole time. I've seen friends pass from cancer. All while "waiting" for it to get better. Time isn't something some of use have. Call it for what it is. A GODDAMNED FUCKING JOKE. I swear some people really don't get it when they say "just wait, it's coming" Yeah, and so is the cure for MS................................

But Calyx do you have the money to pay for your meds? That really is the priority and the whole point of the program now. Why should life be made easier for you just because your sick? You know...I don't like to wish ill will on people but god these fuckers just aren't going to get it until it's someone they love and care about that is suffering needlessly. Assholes.

we have two new denial letters to deal with.
What are the reasons for these 2? 500m from residential? QA Person inadequate?
I'm curious as to what they're handing out. Those I speak with just keep getting ask the same damn questions over and over again.

"Can we see a schedule for your QA person?"
-- submit schedule + detailed explanation + justification + shipping schedule --
"Thank you for your submission"
"Can you please provide adequate justification for a part-time QA person?"

What are the reasons for these 2? 500m from residential? Too many houses for both of them, yes 500 meter
QA Person inadequate? Get this all the time and just know what they are looking for so it's easy to fix, your QA has to have the basics, can't turn a 3 into a 10
I'm curious as to what they're handing out. Those I speak with just keep getting ask the same damn questions over and over again. It's just like iRobot movie you have to ask the right question back or guess the answer and hope to wear HC down, which will never happen they have all the time in the world.
"Can we see a schedule for your QA person?" They ask this if you say part time QA.

OMG first time I have seen this line HF HC is anal, you can fix this real easy the answer is here.

Give me a shout and I'll give you some answers so they go away.

Yes I believe they will require level 7 security for trim and drying rooms, and a couple other goodies.

Trying to understand what that all means... :)

The shipping thing was a reference to the fact that they want the QA person on-hand to package all dried medicine, which means if we said we were shipping on a Tuesday but the QA person was only scheduled to be there Monday and Wednesday, they would take issue with it.

Most of the traps we have manage to see coming, but they keep laying out these bear traps trying to catch us slipping up.

Maybe we should get in touch though.. I also have questions about whether or not we are still allowed to bring in MMAR product once an LP is licensed. The last question we received was about where the product was coming from - "Foreign or MMPR" are the options.

Just tell them what they want to hear. Let them tell you what they want.
tell them you are doing what they want.. regardless of weather or not its happening, The thought counts!! Just ask HC.
and go from there!
Just play their ball game. You don't need investors. You don't need a facility even. Really.. It is all a proposal after all.
Anyone can make up a business. Once OK'd. Then it's crunch time...
Truth is..there will be lots of LP's for sale and on the chopping block.
Maybe take them all!!!!! ;)

there are only two sources, another LP or import from a country, good luck with both of those right now. Another LP sell you starting materials, not going to happen soon. Now there are licensed companies that are coming out that only want to supply starting materials, will not be a issue once things get moving at HC.

QA has to be onsite for just about everything, that's what they are there for. Even a small LP can afford a $45,000.00 to $90,000.00 a year QA, just make it clear they will be wearing many hats when not doing QA.

Well the HC gods have smiled on us once more, just got the HC email opening up another denied file due to Too Many Houses. They gave us a week to respond and make the case, we will win this one too.

4 denials for BC, 3 back on track, one we are working on right now.
2 denials for Ontario, both back on track

a wonderful day in the garden :bigjoint:
