MMMA application denied......

Ok I sent in my application and 100 to the state, I got a certified denial letter because I forgot a copy of my drivers license.

They said to send the app and copy of id back in and I would be approved. It's been over a month and I went to michigan.gov/mmma and it says there is

a backlog of applicants.

My question is I was reading some Faq's on the site and it looked like I could use my application just like a legal ID card.

Can someone tell me this is true and I can start my grow now with only a copy of my application.

I wouldn't... But it is your call. Under Timmahs version of section 8, you are good to go...I'd say wait till you get a cashed check and 21 days...

Yup, as Bob said as long as you have the new application filled out correctly, and send it certified, wait the time, and you're good.

Hope you weren't stoned when you made that error..........

I never sent certified but I did send a USPS money order which I don't have the receipt for anymore either. Yes it looks bad but the place I went to really didn't mention
that those things were necessary. It's been close to 2 months since I sent the first app and over a month since I resent another app w/ copy of id. The website says it could take up to august to get my card.

your a fool bob. he is not good to go. Sec 8 means arrest, court trials ect. he would be fully innocent in my opinion, but I have never said your good to go on a Sec 8, only that you have a constitutional right to assert it at any time during Trial. Fool

TicTacToked, you can still use paperwork, but its a crap shot at best depending on the cop/ agency/county you are having an issue with.

with the new authorization letter, and LARA notifiying all PA and LEO Agencies. Many that my of accepted paperwork previously, may no longer do so. and those areas that never accepted anything but a hard card, if they accept that, you better have a lawyer on retainer...

The way it works is. Get your recommendation mail all paperwork in with payment. After they accept payment. If all is well they have 20 days to get the certified denial letter to you. If by the 21st day you have not gotten the certified denial you are considered registered by the state only. Your paperwork & a verification of payment. Are your temporary registration. If law enforcement accept it is up to the officers. That is the way it is.

Yes I did get a denail the first time but it's been over a month since I sent my second app in, does it still count as legal for the second app without getting another denial after 21 days like the first one?

Yes its the same every time. You have to have proof that they revived payment with your paperwork.
