I'm having a few issues with my ph...So I'm getting lock-out signs on a few leaves around the garden...I've been procrastinating on buying a replacement meter...

This is my first successful run indoors without major issues. For the most part I've been gaining experience in what doesn't work! lmao

But this grow has gone well. I didn't have any goals with training the plants and for the most have only trimmed for cuttings or to open up for light and air flow. 17 plants using basically no training is wild. Next run, I plan on 9 plants with training.

I finally ordered a new PH meter today...My meter broke a couple weeks back and I had been putting it off and guessing with ph up...

Hopefully once it arrives next week I can get the girls flushed and back on track!

Today I received my new PH meter so I decided to test my water ph/tds before and after nutrients to see where I stand/what I've been guessing for a few weeks....

Before
PH 7.3 TDS 139

After
PH 5.5 TDS 975-1050

I realized that somewhere along the line I got my nutrients confused and had a TDS of 289!!!!!

After tripling my dosage and adjusting PH I hovered right around 975-1050 TDS

I've unknowingly been underfeeding them for most of flowering...I have approximately 4 weeks left so I hope I can recover lost growth

So on Tuesday when I discovered that I had been feeding around 300ppm I bumped it up to around 1000ppm...After feeding them triple what they had been receiving I thought more into what I did and got nervous that I may have increased them too abruptly...Fortunately here we are on Thursday with no signs of overfeeding!!!

Note to self...Think it through! I was fortunate this time...

So the last few days have been cold and my lights off temps have been dropping around 54F. I don't believe the root zones are dropping that low but I'm concerned that my flowering will slow down....At what temp does cannabis substantially slow down? My lights off temps gradually reach lower 50's by morning so they are likely only seeing 50 temp for a few hours at max.

I'm not interested in opinions from those without first hand experience, tons of misinformation out there...so please, anyone with first hand experience feel free to chime in

Can you get heat mats under your pots? If not at the least try to mulch the tops of the pots this will help keep the heat in when it's cold.

I hadn't thought about heat mats. What is more important with low 40-60F...keeping the root zone at a warm temp or the whole plant???

I edited my initial post as it was a bit incomplete. Thank you for taking the time to respond

This is my opinion and it's hard to advise too much without being there so all I can go off of is the info in your thread. You have a good amount of light and one of your lights is an HPS. I think your lighting should keep canopy temps in check. The combo of mulch and heating pad should do the trick and then maybe when it's lights out turn down the speed of your fans. You're gonna have to play with it.

You might also consider an open hood for these times when it gets cold VS your cool tube.

Just some things to consider. The first thing I would try is to mulch the top of the plants and mess with your fan speeds at night then go from there.

Keep us posted.

Today I fed the girls DynaGro 1200ppm @ 6.5

Temperatures were dropping fairly low (mid to lower 50's) so I added a space heater to the room and daily I have been turning off the exhaust an opening the upper third of my tent during lights on which allows the warm air to blow back into the room rather than exhausting the warm air.

My thinking behind recirculating the warm air is to take advantage of the heat to warm the walls/floors/etc as much as possible to aid in the heating throughout the night where I must close the tent and run the exhaust (I have an unsealed veg cycle in the room where the tent is located which will interrupt dark cycle if not closed)

Next run I plan on venting my exhaust directly into the room rather than to the exterior (during the winter) that way I can leave the tent closed and still benefit from the heat that I normally exhaust to the exterior.

I'm currently around day 48 of flower

Okay,

I had been counting days since I first noticed the plants flowering after the flip which would put me @ 58 days...but my actual would be 65 days since flip...

I ordered a 30x loupe that should be here by this Friday which would put my girls @ day 67

I'm leaning toward going with the actual day of the flip as the more accurate time line...but will be checking out the trichs once my loupe comes in this Friday.

It's finally here...well, almost!

What do you all think?

Looks great bro, I love your even canopy. Can be difficult with that many plants
Thank you

There are 4 strains and 17 plants

I must've got extremely lucky because I didn't put a whole lot of effort into the cannopy besides moving them around based on height

I don't plan on running this many plants again. 4x4 is just not enough room for my liking
