Mix and Match Crop

But what happens if you do what's In the chart and one of the four different strains show nute burn .....?

I can adjust as needed but I try to err of the light side of feeding to make sure no one plant is getting burned out. The Skywalker OG actually likes the Ph to be a little lower than the Bubba Kush so I have 2 jugs of water going, one with Ph of 6.06 and the other with a Ph of 6.24 - took me a while to make Sky happy cause she's a finicky girl it turns out.

I'm really hoping to take some clones from the Skywalker and see if I can get a plant more suitable to be a mother, but we'll see how it goes.

Well I went and checked on the plants this morning and one of the seedlings was half withered and totally wilted though since I watered carefully like always the night before I dont know why. All the others are totally fine it seems though.

Moved the seedlings into some red solo cups for a little more space to grow and to bring the little leaves closer to the light. So far they seem to be ok, though one does seem to not like the Ph cause the leaves are wrinkling.

So I took clones for the first time the other day and it didn't go well, the door was left open and a certain little calico cat helped herself to the plants. But I tried again yesterday and they are doing well in the same space as the seedlings, which are also doing well.

There is some nice foliage growth going on but I just hope that at least 2 or 3 turn out to be female. Just ignore the probe, that seems to be the best place to make sure I can keep an eye on the temperature and humidity around my tiny plants.

I've also gotten a nice little 18in T5 that I think I'm going to swap the 21in T8 for- a little more output might be good. Any thoughts?

The cuts seem to be doing well, some are a little droopy but I think they'll perk up. I'm keeping the ph at rough 5.7 to 5.8 but I can't seem to get it much lower than that for some reason without just adding gobs and gobs of ph down (which I now feel like I wasted trying to lower the ph of the water) but whatever. I don't want to be basically pouring straight up ph down in my plants.

Two of the seedlings were having an issue with wrinkling leaves so I started giving them some water with a slightly lowered ph, just about 6.0 down from 6.25. We'll see in a few days if that helps at all and I'll keep the journal updated. The other three seedlings are doing great, growing some leaves fairly quickly and reaching for the light.

Ha ha I would of kicked that cat in the hole...... Only joking :)
Thats where I moved my thermometer as it's where the plants are in direct sun light ......

Oh she got an ass swirly in the toilet cause I caught that little turd in my seedling shelf still laying on the heat mat like it was a cat pad. O_e But I love her so I just give her a butt swirly and banish her to the livingroom so she can sulk on her taller-than-me cat tree like she's not utterly spoiled. Little turd.

I'll be right back with pictures of my new little incognito veg cabinet.

And here are those pictures! Lined with panda paper, sealed with ducktape and a neat little hole drilled into the wood to let out the power cords.

I will most likely be moving the seedlings into the new ottoman/ grow cabinet once they get a little bigger. They should love the T5 after being under the T8 so far.

I'll keep the journal updated as things change!

Just a fun update- moved the seedlings into the new ottoman grow cabinet to hang out under the T5. The last few days there's been some fairly fast leaf growth.

As for the clones, they're hanging in there but it's painfully obvious that I need practice. A few are starting to get dried looking leaves even though I keep them well watered, but not drowning. I'm not sure what that's about but we'll see what happens. Hopefully at least a few pull through.
Here's a close up of one of the cuts.

I'm waiting to see how these turn out before I take any more cuts from the Skywalker. The Bubba Kush is really bushy and can afford for me to fuck up with a couple of branches, but the Skywalker only hase a few branches to begin with.

Hey,

still laughing at your cabinet (In a good way) it's well hidden in there :)

seedlings are looking good....
cuttings not so, humidity dome, spray leaves with water ......... Or hopefully it's maybe that the heat mats to warm.... I don't use a heat mat with cuttings !

Peace :bigjoint:
