Misting with carbonated water?

What ho Chaps.

I saw once someone spraying their plants with carbonated (sparkling) water, saying that it was a good way to increase C02 intake in their plants.
Is there any truth to this?

Also have heard a rumor of this sort but havent read any evidence.

what about watering them with mineral water every two weeks?

Depends on the ph, im not into hair brained ideas, I use things I know work for me, such as distiled water etc....but great ideas come from experiments, ill let others try lolz.

Yeah, thats why i was asking here and not trying it myself.

ed rosenthal said that it would have minimum effects. if you think about it, the plants would only be able to use the tiny bit of co that is released and then its gone. you would have to mist constantly and then you would have big problems. look into dry ice.
