mis-communication about the lucas formula?

I've seen many different versions of the lucas formula and also i'm seeing two schools of thought about the lucas formula, what do you guys think?

"Lucas Formula should be used in the same ratio throughout the grow. There is a misconception that one should use 5ml of Micro and 10ml of Bloom, when in veg, and switch to 8ml of Micro, and 16ml of Bloom, when flowering.
This was never stated by Lucas himself. He originally stated that the 0-5-10 ratio was for LOW LIGHT situations (fluorescent lighting like PL/L and CFLs, or HID lamps less than 400W), whereas 0-8-16 is for medium to high light (400W+)"

I find Lucas a little to hot at beginning of veg...so that's why I use 3 tsp of maxi per 5 gal in veg and 1 tsp per gal in flower... but I also use calimagic in veg an a wee bit into flower and syco silica all the way till week 6 ish of flower....but yeah Lucas is the shit. Bar none.

So you only need Flora Nova Bloom or maxi bloom throughout the WHOLE cycle and you'd be fine as long as the other factors were taken care of?!?!
