I would buy this Fox Farm ocean forest. If you can't get it, get scotts, not MG.

Good luck!

Scotts with out a doubt. MG has a lot of nutes in it and seem like it is easy to give plants some sort of nute burn through the veg cycle.

I have tried both scotts and miracle grow potting soil and my plants didn't really like either. They seem to be 60% sticks and 40% soil. Try getting something organic, your plants will love you.

Scotts by a mile. It's too easy for a noob to get over-zealous and start feeding before it's necessary.
Since I was a noob at one point trust me. noobs always want to do too much.
A first grow is exciting and it's easy to over-feed,
at least with scotts if you over feed by feeding before you need to
( miracle grow soil usually feed for the first 3 mo) your plant won't burn.
Also sometimes i've seen seedlings burn in that (miracle grow) soil too without additional nutes.
And I've never gotten stcks in my scotts

my first grow i ran into really bad ph problems with MG organic choice, it was loaded with gnats. second grow im ordering FFOF and am expecting at least a 100% increase in yeild. without a doubt. and im not that terrible of a grower, the small amount of bud i got was better than any 400 a zip bud around here.
