If you want to use their soil, avoid the moisture control and the shit that says it releases nutes for up to three months. I use their regular potting soil and nutes and they work great.

Use Miracle Grow Organic in the brown bag if you want to use their stuff.

Get some insect killer (safe for food) too. You more than likely will get some fungus gnats with your soil.

I use MG during vegging, not ideal for weed as its a general plant fertiliser but its certainly better than othre stuff out there. But if you want the best, you gotta pay for the specialised nutes

i used the 3 month mg soil and it works as good as any other soil i think. i also use the blue mg nutes and it deffinetly works. i was told that if u use the soil from seed it wont work but im here to say otherwise.

I used the MG moisture control from the start. It worked good. Got a tiny bit of nutrient burn from the time release at about week 3 into veg. I flushed and haven't had any issues since. Of course I'm using organic ferts at the moment.

if you are new to growing i would say stay away from this soil or any that has nutes already added. i myself used this on my first grow and had nothing but trouble. i made the mistake of using the soil that has nutes up to 9 months and almost lost my whole crop due to this. at first you will have no problem the plants will look fine but as they grow and the root system spreads you will have big problems; leaves yellowing and dying, slowed growth. its just not worth the risk i would not suggest using this unless your plant is already around the second or third month and can handle the nutes in the soil. anyway thats just my opinion from my personal experience

one time when i was first growing i used miracle grow with nutes added in soil already and had alright results but i figure if the nutes are only little balls that realease the nutes why couldent u sift them out like you could do to perlite or sumthin and then add ur own nutes.

You got the yellow bags don't you boricuaboi? That organic shit from miracle grow is ok, haven't tried putting any nutes on the plants yet, they are still about 5 inches tall.

i think the soils fine to grow in i dont use it anymore cuase i like to control my nutes but its just when people add extra nutes when there not needed is the problem.

I transplanted 2 plants into the 3 month Miracle Gro Potting Mix, it's been about 3 weeks and I see miracle results, they look like they belong in a freekin rainforest or something. Barely any fert burns, great nodal growth, and great color. So far I give it a thumbs up!

i like mg moisture control, but the next time i use it im going to cut it with some thing else about 50/50. the moisture control gets really dense just used by itself. i never got nute burn using it but i think its a little too hot to use by itself because i think i was getting some nute lockout due to the N being as high as it is.

plus it retains water like a mother fucker, i would prefer to have a little bit better drainage and mix it with something so the soil is not quite as compact.
