Ive heard people say it has nutes in it, but im not sure about that. Its probably the same as any other perlite. If its got nutes in it, it should say on the back of the bad. Even if it does it wont be enough to matter

Is it ok to use Miracle-Gro perlite?
sure its ok to use MG perlite, myself i ve always get em at the home depot for about four dollars.

the perlite is inert, nothings in the lavas , trust me...for your safely

OSHA considers perlite dust to be merely a nuisance dust, presenting no out-of-the-ordinary safety issues. It contains very little quartz content, and is not associated with asbestos. Of course normal precautionary measures should be taken, such as avoiding getting perlite in the eyes or ingesting it.

there you go.

Peace

I bought a bag of MG Perlite once (long story!). Anyway, I just rinsed the hell out of it to be sure. I soaked it overnight in a gallon jar (shaking it a few times), then I drained out the water and re-filled with fresh water a few times. End of problem!

i use miracle gro perlite if the store is out of a lighter soil mix to cut my soil with, never had any problems.

i'll go check the bag to see if it has nutes, i thought i remember seeing that they put some N in it.
