Minimum space for 150w HPS?

I was wondering what is the smallest area I could put one of these in?

i got a compact one like that and the light radius is 2 ft so ,i would just say anything under that would good ventilation and your good

that would work in a small closet as long as you keep it cool

shouldn't be a problem as long as it aint the side with the vents in it

To better answer you, what size 'room' do you plan on growing in?
(Even with a remote ballast, the 150W can heat up a small space quite well)

my sunsystems hps150 gets hot and noisy as a mothafucker. get one with a remote ballast.

i have FLORALUX 250w HPS air cooled with a 265 CFM Exhaust Blower in a 2x2x4 homebox tent the room temp 70-76 homebox temp 79-86 and I have a good fan in the room to move air no windows in the room I try in july it was to hot 80-100 in the room ac was to much to buy around $400 but all good right now.hope this helps

so i might have made a mistake. my sunsystems hps 150 is super quiet. i got 2 of those white cardboared display boards with three sides ( you remember using them for school projects) and made a huge rectangle from them. its exaxtly 2'x2'. with my light directly in the middle i get the best possible light coverage. best and cheapest homemade growbox that takes noooo effort to make and works better than anything ive used.

an hps 250 isnt even hot. u could cool a hps 1000 with that many cfms

get one from econolights.com I got the vapor tight 150w hps ballast included... all delivered for $36. you'll just have to add a cord and reflector...
