Min Height, Canopy to COB?

Hello,

Can anyone with a bit of experience suggest the min height between canopy and COB surface, running @ 700mA.

15cm is a great place to start.

i used cxb3590@700ma 2 times allready, and with my reflectors my height between canopy and cob was around 30cm

Depends on how far apart the cobs are, but 1 per sq ft in that 6-9" area is good at 23w each, assuming you're talking about cxb3590 36v @ 700mA bare cob or 90° reflectors.

But say if you crammed 20 of them in like a single 12"x12" fixture in a 4'x4' tent, you'd want to hang them 24-36" high.

Depends on spacing and area to cover more than individual led wattage.

so my box is
400d x 900w x 950h

4 x 700mA 3070s

I guess I should just aim to make the gap as big as possible
