Military Tech - Robots firing Guided Bullets

I feel safer. We know we have tracked and wheeled robots to carry the .50 cal machine gun. But how about a robot sniper with a .50 cal? Well, don't you need guided bullets for that? Sure, come to mention it....

But how about those projectiles (can they even be called "bullets"?)...do they need a spotter?

Gotta be a laser spot, right? I'd like to see something about sensor and effectors.

I'm presuming it's a mini-rocket. I recall seeing something similar (at least in concept) many years ago, and I'm sure it wasn't the first.
