Microscope Recommendations Please

I am in need of a more powerful look at the trichomes. I have searched but would like to ask the question:

What is a good microscope to buy to look at my outdoor plants to see if they are ready, and other things like bugs and stuff?

It works well for trichomes and bugs.

Way over budget! I am hoping for something portable.
