Micro nutrients is a hydroponic thing and you won't usually see this stuff in a regular retail store. Instead you'll see lots of liquid and granular fertilizers. I'm on the west cost so what I have available might be different from what your area carries in stock. I'll tell you this, I really like Kellogg brand potting mix and their all purpose fertilizers (4-4-4). I've been growing in the dirt for years using their stuff. I also like Alaska Fish Emulsions (NPK 5-1-1) and Alaska MorBloom (NPK 0-10-10). In soil it's all about organic slow release fertilizers.

I also run a container garden and that's why I have more fun testing out different hydroponic nutrients. I've done AN, Roots Organic, Fox Farm, and a few others. Right now I'm testing X Nutrient's line up. Its one of the cheaper brands but so far I'm getting good results with it.

Short Indicas in using Kellogg products.

Sativas and Indicas using X Nutrients in different potting mixes (Roots Organic, Fox Farm, and Kellogg Patio Plus)

okay thanks for the responce, i am using soil i bought at my local hydroponic store , its just in a black bag and says professional potting blend, it has alot of perlite in it and some nutrients and says bat guano ... i picked up a 2 part feed that i mix with water there aswell. as you can probably tell this is my first time growing this. just and experiment on my end to try and help my father with his medical needs.
