Micro-Box in Action! (8 watts!) (PICS)

Okay, I took clones of African Basil today and put them into the box. We shall see how well these two plants root.

Original post for construction can be found here -----> https://www.rollitup.org/grow-room-design-setup/152058-miniature-seedling-clone-cooler.html

Accidentally broke a connection while extending the wire, had to re-solder it in, but no hassles otherwise.

If this works well, I'm going to try for 4, then 6 clones. If it works that well enough, then I'll test this out on cannabis seedlings and clones.

Who knows? I might overdrive the ballast and pump it up to 12 watts just to see if it can handle it safely. If it can, I might be making and selling these things en-masse.

Micro energy-efficient seedling/clone box, anybody? :D

One basil clone has rooted. Time to transplant into soil!

Three days for a root system like that ain't bad at all.

The box obviously works.

Nah, African Basil is a sterile hybrid that can only be propagated by cloning.

I'm just using it as a quick test of the cloning/seedling box I've made. So far, that one rooted the fastest. I'm still waiting on the other one to root. I have two others in a brighter box, they've yet to root out.
