This journal starts 5 weeks into flowering, here is some setup info:

Growspace: 23x13x18 inches (lxwxh)
Main light: 200w CFLs
Supplemental lighting: 2x 10w LEDs on side (always on), 400W HPS outside of box for about 30 min a day
Carbon filter: large one left over from previous hps grow
Plants: 4 total, 1 strawberry caugh and 3 mixed strains (sativa and indicas)
Training: 3 plants topped + SCROG
Veg time: 5 weeks
Nutes: Terra Max

New "controversial" techiques:
-all plants in same pot (idea: allows me to maximize size of pot instead of giving each their own and having lots of wasted space in between the pots)
-removing lots of fan leaves during veg and also during flower (there was an extensive post somewhere online about growers with 20+ year experience showing how they have been doing it for years, allowing lower buds to get light. I decided to try)
-try to crowd as many bud sites into the scrog as possible
-Having 93F temps at top of buds in center

Additional info for those interested: I have several years experience with small grow spaces and one HPS grow (resulting in 1g/w). My goal here is to yield 30g+ using mainly CFLs. I have a 400W hps set up outside of the box under which the plants have been put under for about 30 min a day starting in week 4 of flowering. They do not stay longer since it is not very stealth and it stinks up the place fast. I added 2x 10W LEDs just for fun, they are mounted on the sides and basically shine onto just 2 buds.
I started with more plants in small pots, removed the males later on and then built a custom pot where they are all now growing in together.
Many fan leaves were removed continuously in veg and I still remove a handfull every other day to prevent some buds from being covered by them. They grow back very fast. Atm there are about 40 buds (ranging in size oc) at the top within this small 23x18 area. They started getting frosty after 4 weeks flower and should be getting finished around mid may. There is no smell when they are in the growspace (carbon filter) but lots of smell when taking them out and under the HPS.
