Michiganman's First Grow - My Journal

no prob, but i noticed when i used the feeding chart it burnt my plants a lil, so start off with about half of what it says to use then work ur way up till ur plant likes it, also if following the chart make sure to feed only everyother watering wich means water with nutes and then next time water with plain water ans so on and so on

Sweet, yeah I planned on going with little nutes (1/4th tsp per gallon) on my hempy bucket for the first little bit and bumping up if necessary.

Well the plants are now 1 week old (from seed). Here are a couple pics..

Everything seems to be going well....

im not from michigan but i love the wolverines, also on your hempy did u just put the seed in like u would soil cuz i want to do a small hempy grow

Sweet welcome Fditty! GO BLUE! I love Michigan football, actually went to a game this year...fucking awesome! I don't mind Sparty b-ball though!

We actually put the seed in a Jiffy Pellet and then put that directly into the perlite. We just put it into our bigger bucket first but normally you would start in a party cup and transplant once the roots were big enough. We have to water everyday until the roots hit the reservoir....

are those pictures one week since sprout? if they are they seem a little small for a week but that could be genetics idk im not a pro just sayin what i think i could be completly wrong

Go BLUE!
Ive been waitin to see someone finish a Hempy grow I subscribed to. The ones ive been in always end up killing them. Were from MI, well figure this shit out. U hear their tryin to open a dispensary in Grand Rapids?

Yeah but they are auto-flowering dwarfs so I think they are supposed to be smaller...not 100% though.

I will stick by this journal...

No I didnt hear about a dispensary in GR...that's wild! I didnt think MI supported dispensaries? I know of a Care Club in GR but nobody uses it, that I know of (I thought it was a place holder or something).

Update. This Sunday will be the start of the 3rd week so I took a couple more pics. One of the soil and the HB are growing fast, the other seems like its growing leafs fast but not growing upwards very fast, but its still growing.

The HB (Heather) seems to be pretty yellow but is growing great. Not sure what it really means, we tried looking it up but couldn't find out anything. PH is normal, its not to hot or too cold at night, I think it may be the nuts but not really sure.

The two soils are going to start getting nutes, the edges of the leaves are starting to turn a lighter green/yellow.

honestly unless the plants genetics are made for the plant to be yellow thats usually not a good thing and has something to do with nutes. i mean if its growing great though than thats good but wierd thats is yellow. if its gets worse and the new leaves that grow are smaller than the last ones you got a problem

Yeah I think its a nute issue to, but I don't know shit to tell otherwise. We ended up starting the feeding at full strength and I think it was to much!

2 of the three are growing so fast...they dont even look like dwarfs!

thats nice man well i hope that nute problem goes away. keep posting and posting pics im still interested

Dont know hoe their doin, but if the newest growth, is turning yellow. Flush em! U wanna start at 1/4 strenght nutes then 1/2 3/4 then full. Hope that dont kill em..

ok man. hey what part of michigan you from? i got family in kalamazoo and portage

BIG UPDATE:

Ok so the plants are growing like weeds (hahah) except for the little soil runt!

From top left to right:

1. That's all three together under the light.
2. That's the runt Jackie. Her bottoms leaves are turning yellow at the edges? I was wondering if Nute burn looks like a nute deficiency? The soil has had no nuts yet and is in week 3.
3. Another picture of Jackie.
4.The big soil Maria. Same issue as Jackie.
5. Same
6. Same
7. I get sad when I look at Heather right now. She is still growing (biggest of the 3) but very yellow and droppy. We beleive it to be Nute burn and are in the process of flushing. After that we are going to feed 1/4-1/2 Nutes and see what happens. Does anybody know of anything that Hempy buckets like to perk them back up?
8. Same
9. Fucked up and put another pic of Maria in there (looks good though)!
10. Sad Hempy Bucket Heather....

Any suggestions would be great.

I live in the Kent county...don't want to be to specific...sorry!
