Im a Michigan man lol, south eastern detroit suburbs. Michigans not to bad 4 seasons (although a lot of cold ) summers get up to about 90s in late july. Michigan is defenitly a nice place in the summer time, the winter.... not so much. Oh and we dont all like football, we get some descent bud here prolly about middle of the road compared to other states ive been too, looking forward to the outdoor summer grow season. Not to many people from around the country come here, but Michigans kind of an aquired taste. PEACE

Gettin super excited for some warm weather so I can do some gardening:peace: I love the northern Michigan landscape, perfect. I don't mean to "toot" my horn, but this is will be my biggest planting season, i'll be working with about 25 plants. I have a real prime location set-up. Anyone else excited for the growing season?

im from michigan and have been growing outdoors for the past three summers. i find that there is plenty of time to veg a nice 8 foot plant, which i have done(took forever to flower though, and i had to cut early). its seems like the genetics im getting from seeds in holland that you are all famaliar with (female seeds, green house seeds, nirvana) are short plants for the most part. only other problem is that a lof of the strains dont finish until late septermber, october.... this sucks because who knows if its going to rain for 4 days straight and the temps tend to drop - we know what this equates to... kick ass part of michigan is the great fall colors - by harvest my buds look like cartoons. not positive if this has to do with cold night temps or not, but i like to think it does :).... this leads me to believe that plants which flower early tend to max out a a meter tall. idk for certain, but it is what i have noticed in my past 3 grows.

Ya got that right,i grew up in Detroit & i agree that it needs to be burned to the ground, after 30 solid years of mismanagement the entire city is in a total state of destruction, nothing left.

Ever been there,if not take a little tour.

This is the way Detroit looks right now today,my old offices were located 1.5 miles from where the slum tour starts.
